How much do you guys foresee it will eventually get to?

Someone sold 350 canes in venturi sell at 400g each, that's quite a fair bit of coin if you ask me

I'm not going to buy a usable item to replace skill, thanks.

I didn't bother stockpiling any, I see no reason to buy them now, and I laugh at those who spend money on them.

well ive seen alot actually sell in LA for 300-400g and a few deals where people bought them for 500g. So I see them possibly getting around the 1k mark once supply starts to run low. I think alot of people who knew about CC farmed them in mass amounts or realized....skill > CC, and those who didnt know they removed DP will be the main buyers. anyway I traded 250 CC for a 15^50 req. 8 long sword, I've wanted one of those for a long time and now those CC easily got me one.

I have 500 of them but - despite a long and checkered career as a farmer - I didn't stockpile them to sell. It was easy (but enormously boring) farming and they're nice to have ... although certaintly not essential. The GW world did fine before they were around and will be OK once they're gone. I sure wouldn't buy them if I didn't have them, but am glad to have a nice stockpile.

I have 227 i spent about 2 hours buying Skulls and trading them for ccs in hope that the price of them would increase in the future..

While I think it a bit unreasonable to buy skulls instead of farm them, I don't see the price capping out over 500g. Still, though, if I can sell my stock for 500g - or even 250g - I will be a very happy camper.

Greed eventually makes people try foolish things. Most sellers were trying to hit the 1k mark in Ascalon City today. Anyone who would pay more than a few hundred gold is an idiot. No matter what the supply level is.

To me, CC's are only valuable to teams farming UW and FoW, and capping in Southern Shiverpeaks (Especially Mineral Springs). And maybe the RoF missions.

Although , I must admit I have about 700 CC's myself for personal use and just in case people really do start paying 1k for them. But that's the only way I'll sell them.

Heh. I doubt they'll sell for much. Everyone who wanted them pretty much have a stockpile of them. And I'm sure the stockpile will last until next Christmas where I assume they'll be available again.

I only stockpiled a few since I know people were gonna farm the crap out of salvage items and trade them. I would like pay around 100g per cane.

its a piece of shiat, a temporary solution to what is otherwise an insignificant death penalty.

The funniest thing is the most usable item was not stock piled.

The snow man can body block flag stands and alter. Too bad everyone missed their chance.

Prices will go up because of greed, but hey... thats just how the world works and we all adapt to it, such as have our own stash so we dont have to pay the outrageous prices that will come in the future. They're useful in their own way, and that is all I will agree upon it.

lol, that would be funny. Too bad they cant be used in PvP.

I'm going to hold on to the candy canes until their price hits somewhere around 600g then sell all but 50 of them. I foresee the price hitting a cap less then a month from now, people will soon figure out how unnecessary this item is for everyone but solo farmer/runners.

I bought 150 canes before the wintersday update was removed for 2.5K, just for personal use, but now, if they can be sold for about 150 times that amount, I might just be tempted to sell.

Wait until the summer, candy cane prices will rival ecto and shard prices.

I don't think they will, i think that so many people kept theirs that there won't be a big demand.

I can't say that DP has ever been a real problem for me in PvE, it goes so quickly once the killing starts.

If you payed 1k or even 500g for these, it would be like throwing away money.
