When reporting somebody I noticed the text underneath it. Was the half report they get no faction for the rest of the match always there? I posted a topic about adding that feature not too long ago. I couldn't find this listed on wiki either so was it recently added or was it there before?
(I would like the fact that somebody used an idea I came up with for once lol).
Is this new?

Ugh
Either it wasn't there before or I don't pay enough attention.

This is the best I could find on the wiki. I don't really use the report feature very often.
Leeching
Reporting a teammate for leeching gives that player 2 dishonor points. If at least half of your team reports this player, a further penalty will be applied preventing any faction or XP gain in that match. If, however, a third or less of your team reports that player, you will also be given 2 dishonor points for issuing an unsupported report. Players with 10 or more dishonor points are temporarily prohibited from participating in PvP.
Last edited on the 23rd of last month, so it could be fairly new for all I know, or it could have always been there.

At some point in earlier years this was newly implemented. Although it wasn't too long ago when this started to be an option. You probably haven't used the report feature in a long time, so that's why it seems new. As for me, it always has been available for at least the start of the new year. Of earlier months I am not too sure, as I've only paid attention to that feature in Jan.

It was updated in May 2009 iirc. The change was mentioned in the update notes but it was quite vague.

I'm sure it was always there about the no faction gain (or at least, it always happened, but maybe it wasn't listed in the reporting menu). That was the main reason you report leechers. Not to get em banned, but to make it so they didn't get any rewards for leeching (and therefore, it becomes counterproductive). A lot of people get confused about the difference between /reporting to ban somebody and /reporting to give people dishonor. They are two completely different systems, but with the same name so a lot of people don't understand it fully.

I think it's been there since dishonour was introduced. I'm not sure on how many had to report though and if it's changed since then.

Hmmm. That is quite odd. Maybe it was there the whole time. I suggested that when people are reported enough they aren't allowed to get faction for the rest of the game and some people really didn't like that part, but apparantly it's been here before lol. People are so lazy though. I wonder if they will actually do anything when I can now say this fact.
Devastating Flames
It came back when they updated the Reports system and it's stupid thats why theirs more lechers now no one wants to report cause they end up getting kicked.

^See above for somebody who doesn't understand the /reporting system.
You don't get kicked.

It's been re-worded. It used to say something along the lines of, "Using this feature for an inactive player..." etc etc etc. It didn't used to be so specific about the points given and points needed for dishonor, nor about the XP loss. I know that was on the wiki, but it wasn't on the actual report. It's pretty nifty, at least people will be a bit more informed now.
