lol this is fun, started DSC when the two weekends in a row were like 2 months ago

Smite is easy give that ago, do you deserve the title if you let other do that for u lol.
theoretically you could do it afk however runs will take longer as the usual run splits u into 4 groups taking a section. Then again you still need to deposit faction which will fill up quickly too. all in all atleast put some effort into it if you want thte title

Seems like something to do on occasion, but I wouldn't even know where to start. Going out headfirst, with no experience (as the 600), seems like a silly thing to do *g* Have only done some 600-ing in CoF.

There's a texmod in the farming section that shows the routes for the Kurzick speed clear (thanks [SCAR]). After you've done it once it's cake. Just watch out for Onis (areas where they might pop are highlighted in red) and Skill Hungry Gakis.
Never done the Mount Qinkai speed clear but I'll probably max Kurzick this weekend - might at least head over and see what that one's all about.

Have smited my way to max in DTSC. Call it lazy, but I isn't much fun actively killing the same groups over and over again. At least while smiting I can watch a movie at the same time

For people who want a lot of faction, either get friends to make groups or be a 600. Last time the event came around I tried to smite found hardly any groups. Went and got a few pve skills and farmed like 3mil points. Would have been a lot more if I was pre- ready with the skills for 600.

yeah, that's how I started both MQSC and DTSC: got the bonder build from PvX, then followed the 600, learning all paths and builds of both SC's, saving all the templates, and eventually becoming able to run any build and any path. You get enough of those types together, and it's fast, flexible teams.

For Befriending... you only need to get the 10K faction once, for any number of characters in an account . Unless you are talking about several characters on several accounts.

I've had to collect the 10k Luxon numerous of times, because I was dumping Kurzick Faction all the time, thereby losing the unspent Luxon Faction, and because I didn't feel like pulling all my characters through Factions at the same time.

It was like Spot The Monk. Seriously. Like, sixty or seventy monks, with the odd necro, assassin or ritualist.
I gave up thought of asking and left.

I had fun doing this even though there is still a few hours left to go.
Took about 8 of my chars this weekend to end game.
Especially in in getting a full team of real players for the 2 party parts in factions
instead of waiting forever or having to use HH or getting game guys for the other side.
Sure some pugs sucked noodles / didn't always listen and low lvl but made the game fun again for me.

I got my 67k before the weekend started, donated them on Friday, left my Luxon alliance and allied with the Kurzick side, got the 10k Kurzick faction needed to be able to do Eternal on my necro, bought some Kurzick armour, did some more quests so that I had around 22k Kurzick faction, donated it all, switched my guild back to the Luxon side, VQed the areas I hadn't done yet on my mesmer, helped a guy that became a new guildy (heya Towah!), helped Lexy do some stuff and donated some 50k again.

JQ on the Luxon side was pretty empty on Sunday.
Brought rank up to kissing r6 before bed. Not bad considering 1) only played a few hours on Saturday and even then, not awfully seriously, just mapping a couple places and 2) only played a hand full of hours on Sunday and only vanq'd 4 maps in the Jade Sea.
(And to think, a few months ago, my girls didn't have any faction ranking at all even though we got Factions when it first came out.)

Gained 3 ranks of Luxon (from 2-5, but hey). Coulda done more but had actual business (unfortunately, since I coulda' gone for r6 or even r7).
The most fun part? Completely skipping r3. I had 350k and 50k saved up so when I logged in on Friday boom, 550k =P.
