Hi i have a question,
i would like to delete a character of mine and start over with it. But i already dedicated alot items to it spend alot on the HoM.
My question is if i delete it and remake it excactly the same. Name, Prffesion, second proffesion. are the items in my xunlai chest still good to go for that new character?
Thank you.
What happens if i delete/remake a character with the same name's items?

No. You won't be able to use those Customized Items.

Not sure why you are remaking a character, but if it is important to reuse things like armor and custonized weapons, then consider using the new options instead of deleting and remaking the character. Makeover credits and name changes are now available and allow you to do what remaking the character would do, but not lose the titles, XP, and items the character has.

Also, any mini-pets that have been dedicated to the 1st HoM, will not be able to be re-dedicated to another HoM.
So, depending upon why you want to remake the character, you may be better off with a make-over rather than a do-over.
Tip: if you do decide to delete the character and start over, take everything out of the old character's backpack, pouch, and bags and then also put the belt pouch and bags into storage, for use on the new character. Also, salvage any runes and inscriptions for re-use.

Thank you for replaying. The Reason was like maverick says to get the survivor title on him.
now I think its better to just keep him and use a new slot to make a new character. In the Meanwile i will stop updating the HoM until i'm sure how everything is gonna connect to GW2.
Thanks All.

It's all in how the game sees your character. You see it as 'character name' while the game stores it as a unique string probably including name, date and time of origin, and appearance plus whatever else it uses. Since you can't completely replicate that string (the date of origin will not be the same, for instance) the game sees the armor as belonging to 2 separate characters even though the name is the same.
