Male Ranger Armour.

Hey guys hows it going, quick question =)

My main char Woodelf Archer is of course a ranger and I have a very annoying recurring problem.

I cannot see one armour for male rangers that stands out to me in a "I must have that armour" kinda of way. I see armour buy them then end up salavaging them or putting in storage within a day (sometimes hours). WHich is annoying since the female class imo has much better armour.

I also bought chaos gauntlets recently and cannot find a single armour that suits them. all armours look better with gloves that ive seen.

At the moment I have Elite luxon dyed green, Norn dyed White, Primeval dyed black (with blindfold, not mask) and Elite Canthan dyed white. I cant decide which, or if I even like any of them.

SO, my question is can anyone please post in their opinion THE BEST LOOKING male Ranger Armour/ Ranger Armour combinations. Would be nice if it incorporated chaos gloves too.

Money is not an issue. and I already have a female ranger and do not really want to play another class, so... =)

I don't know if this is the right section of the forum where you can ask such a question. However, if you go in the screenshot exposition section of this forum you can see a lot of different armors and hopefully solve your problem.

I like male ranger Obsidian armor with chaos gloves on, but then again, it's probably one of the most common armor combos in the game. You could always just integrate the chaos gloves into an armor that you already have.

I didn't like any of the male Ranger armors either - so I made mine female. There's always the extreme makeover, y'know.

Way back when there was only Prophecies, the Obsidian armor was the only Ranger armor I liked. Since then, there a few others I like, but ...... chaos gloves?! Dear god, haven't we seen enough of them already? They never looked good and now they're common as dirt.

Besides the ones you already have, Obsidian and Elite Druid are my favorites.

And, IMO, Chaos Gloves only look good if your armor already has a break at the elbow and you're holding a Chaos Axe or a Storm Bow.

really? i liked 15k frostbound it was my first 15k armor. (now called elite fur-lined, bleh i miss the good ole days)

Deldrimor armor is awesome imo. It's not a full set, but there are probably some good gloves available; maybe chaos gloves look good (I hate chaos gloves on anything, so it's really up to you)? I agree that female armor is better than male though.

Norn Armor for a Male Ranger is one of the precious few that I can tolerate.

Chaos gloves generally dont go well with armours that have sleeves. They generally look best on armour that has already been cutt off before the arm piece, such as Monument, Shing Jea, Tyrian or Obsidian.

My favourite ranger armours are Delrimor and Norn, the latter is a bit overused among rangers though if you like to be individual.
