The cameraman probably just wasn't allowed to film it. I'm guessing Arenanet told him to turn the sound off as well as turn away because they want to keep the premiere for those who payed to go to gamescon.

Edit: Martin just said the trailer would be on the website in HD.

WOW!

Now that is impressive. The concept art animation at the beginning had me a little nonplussed, then the ingame stuff... Now that was simply incredible! The features, the cities, it looks marvelous! Certainly far more than I expected to get for months, if not years.
