Glacial Griffon

I have been trying to kill the glacial griffon now for about 3 days and every build i have tried has failed terribly. Could someone please shed some light on how to kill him?

You Move Like A Dwarf.
Conjure Phantasm.
Finish Him.
Longbow.
Skill.

A spirit spammer X/Rit worked well for me. But I wasn't a derv.

Stay far away (uphill) and degen him.

Illusion Magic does wonders. Go secondary Mesmer and use any old staff.

Bring Illusion of Pain, Conjure Phantasm, Auspicious Incantation, Ether Feast, Accumulated Pain, Ethereal Burden, Kitah's Burden and a PvE skill such as Ebon Vanguard Assassin Support.

Keep away from spirits and edge backwards if the Griffon is snared with either of your Burden spells otherwise it will run back to its ball of spirits.

I am a Derv and was unable to beat him without using another classes skills. I went the burning arrow and apply poisen route. It takes awhile to degen him but if your on the hill out of his aggro range he wont chase you as long as you wait a few seconds between attacks.

aura of the lich, barbs , blood of the master, ymlad and finish him should finish him off, 12 death 12 curses
make sure u use a focus/staff and try to interupt his first spirit

i used: Vampirism, bloodsong, pain, shadowsong, signet of spirits, spirit siphon, painful bond and you move like a dwarf.. try and pull him away from his spirits

Well, I just used the norn tournament spirit spammer, as easy as that Good luck with it!

I beat it with a longbow, Read The Wind, and burning arrow done in like 2 minutes

just poison him every 5 secs, then run away, he usually looses agro quick, and the poison every 5 secs should be enough to keep him poisoned the whole time so his natural health regen wouldn't kick in

it'll be very slow but it works

Burning Arrow
Apply Poison
Read the Wind
Hunters Shot
Pious Haste/good ranger running skill

You can find a video on youtube. Theres a ritualist build on there where you can kill it in under a minute.

Put your spirits on the hill, lure him with a bow. Put Painfull Bond on him ;-)

use NFT spirit spammer he dies in like 3 seconds lol
