Guild in guild wars 2

Does anyone know what the guilds that are in Guild wars what is happening to them in Guild wars two? will you still be the guild leader on a guild wars 2 char as u are on a guild wars char basically do they carry over? i would hope so would really suck if the guild system changed. i hope that if ur on a guild wars 2 char u still are the guilds are till the same. so if i am a guild leader on guild wars when i am playing a guild wars two char i am still the guild leader. anyone know?

It's already been stated that Guild Wars 2 is an entirely new game all together. You have to start from scratch basically.

Only stuff that is being reserved, is your character's names. And then achievements you have earned in the HoM will have some bearing on Guild Wars 2.

So no. You won't have the same guild or be guild leader in Guild Wars 2. It's a new game, not an expansion to Guild Wars 1.

In B4 "go2GWG2"

There was mention that you could somehow reserve your guild name from GW1 for GW2. No details yet on how that would work.

i know it's a completely different game but all those guilds that have been created for over 4 years now that have been together and kept players here. i sure do hope i can reserve my guilds name and some how manage a Guild in Guild wars and Guild wars 2. but if they are suing the link for the HoM they may also keep the guilds account based because it will most likely run of ur same email account name to link to the HoM
