If you like collecting minis, then open them. If you could care less about minis, sell 'em.

sell if you want money, if you have money and dont need any more desperately open it.

It's a gamble, are you a gambler? Gamble.

If not, sell it.

Open first, sell later. Best of both worlds.

Open it then use your time machine if you don't like the result so you can sell it.

After playing for 4 years, you should have (or have had) enough gold, weapons, etc., that you don't need the money.
If, after playing for 4 years, you don't have enough money, it's too late to start trying now. Even 50k isn't really that much.
So, either way, open it up.
