ive done it multiple times on my dervish and as long as u have
a:max armor
b: good amount of health (550+ for me)
c: a self heal skill
d: shadow step skill in case u get body blocked.
e: a anti-knockdown skill
the run gets easier as u progress so the self heal is really only needed as u start the run and once u get closer to ascalon ull be home free ^^

This is indeed the easiest way. Or fight your way to Ascalon by yourself. It's more enjoyable. Just keep going East

If you can't find a runner, IMHO the easiest way is to reach Borlis Pass from Ascalon, then do that mission and the Frost Gate (whitout bonuses to be quicker), then travel directly to Lion's Arch. (You can also try to skip the Frost Gate and reach Beacon's Perch directly).

This if your level isn't too low (maybe it's better if you're over level 10).

Swahnee, you'll looking to head the wrong way. I'm guessing the OP is a visiter to LA from another campaign.

You can run yourself with speed boosts, self heal and reasonable health.
I bring a full pary of henchies, to act as a distraction whilst I run past mobs

Run would be your easiest way just like the other said. It's only about 1k a run.

It is not a difficult trip for h/h party. As said, the further east you get, the easier the mobs. Just don't enter any outposts after Yaks Bend or your party size will drop to four.

While runs are available and relatively cheap, you will not have opened up any areas.

If you got any heroes bring atleast two with Charge for a nice speedboost. Still its not that hard to solo run it either.

If he also wants all town stops, I added them in incase he gets a runner who guarantees all stops.

Like others have said, the only reasons which may force you to go to Ascalon are the vanquish, cartographer and protector titles..

the only part of the storyline which will ask you to return to Ascalon is one of the titans' quests (the very last quests in Prophecies)
