Dancing with a weapon

In my time playing GW, I've seen people emoting while holding weapons. Strange, I thought, since my weapon always disappears when I begin an emote, and reappears when I complete it. Any explanation as to why, or am I just a big, weapon disappearing freak?

Necromancers - and I believe only male ones - show their weapon while dancing (if you can call it that). I believe they're the only ones who can.

Male Necromancers can dance with weapons, and some bundle items will show during emotes. Otherwise I'm not sure of what else.

dervishes can /laugh with their weapons too
