New boss added to Prophcies?

I was in L A yesterday and this group of people were saying there was a new boss added near deldrimore war camp that dropped somekind of vampiric sword is this true?They also mentioned it was blogged about I havent seen anything on it myself thats why I am here.

There is a Vampiric Dragon Sword, but it comes (rarely) from gifts of Nicholas the Traveller. That's the only new sword I can think of.

EDIT: There is a boss that drops a vampiric sword in Sorrow's Furnace, but there's nothing new about him. Grognard Gravelhead got his name from a "Name the Boss" contest in 2005 and has always been lurking in S.F.

but deldrimor war camp though? - relevence to it - or just a one-off location of NtT

but the new boss part is a bit odd though...even with NtT giving away rare weps occasionally - I cannot think were the idea of a new boss came from - unless its just a newb who hadn't seen that boss before (and near DWC - could be Sorrow's - probs a boss in there with a random spawn location)

Someone probably ran out and found a boss that "they" have never seen before, killed it and and got a blue sword with Vamp mod on it... or someone is trying to make others waste hours searching for it.

I haven't been in Sorrow's for a long time, but it would be easy to find out if something was added new. As soon as you enter, you would be downloading new files. Even if it isn't a new boss, but just a new drop from an old one, the files would need to be downloaded for it.

I doubt there is a new boss drop, but I haven't done anything to investigate, nor will I.

Vamp mods do not appear on Blue items. only Gold since the update about 2 years ago.

Why do I know this? Cause with the advent of the change from Blue and Purple drops to Gold drops only for the vamp weapons PRESEARING no longer has Vamp mods drop cause there are no GOLD WEAPONS drops in presearing since the update.

That only works if you don't use -image when you download a new build.
