Upgrading Trial Account

Hi,

I've made a GW Prophecies trial account for someone and I was wondering what happens if he wants to upgrade the account (through NCSoft store) after trial has finished. Will he keep his character or will the account be a completely new one?

After the trial is over, the character is simply locked until a retail key is added or you buy it from the store.

If you add a retail key that unlocks the Prophecies campaign, then your friend is able to continue with his prophecies-created trial character, xunlai chest, etc. just as if it were created with a retail key in the first place. If the trial has already expired, the account is unlocked with a retail key. The campaign of the retail key must match the campaign of the trial key for this to work.

I started like this in the Nightfall campaign with my main char - the trial key is still listed in the account management overview of all of my account upgrades.
