Explain it to me first of all? Apparently there is a traveler everyweek that gives out gifts like mini's and good items for some random in game item correct? How do you find out where he is? When does the item change over like what day?
Also where is this weeks current traveler?
Could someone help me with the 'traveler'?

There's a thread in Riverside Inn that shows the location and item.
It changes every Monday morning.
Nicholas is also in pre-searing Ascalon trading for lesser gifts, with the item changing daily.

Currently he is in Tanahaki Temple explorable collecting 2 Jade Bracelets per gift
Sometimes the place and items wanted are pretty easy to get and sometimes not so easy.

He moves to a new location every Monday morning, an hour before the new Zaishen quest/bounty/combat selections are posted.
You find him by either hunting everywhere in the world of Tyria for him, or by waiting until someone else has found him and the first post of the Nicholas the Traveler Location thread has been updated with the new information. That thread or the wiki article will tell you Nick's current location and what item he wants. The front page of the wiki also lists this information in the box in the upper right-hand corner. Wiki is your friend.
Nick's new location is usually found within half an hour or so, though it has taken longer at times. But beware. Some people like to pull practical jokes, reporting the wrong location and item, and even modifying the wiki with incorrect information. Don't believe anything until you see a screenshot, and don't fall for fakes.
