Need to pick my last character slot.

Hey, I have just one slot left. I gave my sister 2 of my 8 slots, so this is what I have not counting her characters (all PvE)-
Ranger
Monk
Necromancer
Assassin
Dervish

I can't really decide what class to do for the last one. I've started warriors a couple times and they were alright, but I don't see any high-end applications for them really (farming, PvP, etc). I've had a level 20 Ele, but it wasn't that fun and inferior at farming to my monk and assassin. Any suggestions for a versatile, fun class? Perhaps post links for specific builds too?

EDIT: I'm keeping all of my above characters, either for farming/fun/memorablia. My ranger in particular- I never play him any more, but he was my first and I wuv him <3

Many people are going to say you shouldn't be sharing your acct blahblahblah...but you should make a warrior!

You could try a Mesmer? Their pretty interesting, they do very well in pvp. You could work something out for pve.

PvP slot. Thats what I do. Useful for farming Zkeys once a day for money, as well as farming faction in JQ/FA.

my ranger farms Zkeys (6k runs of Z Elite). I've never had a ton of fun PvP'ing anyways, but I'll look into it. What's a good PvP class?

I would go with mesmer, overall really fun to play with. and they are pretty good in pvp if you know how all the spells work against different enemies.

Oh I already have HA unlocked, I more meant high-level PvPing. Thanks for the tips. I made a PvP mez for now, gonna see how that is.

You've already covered the core FotM builds right now, tbh. Para's are good and can easily find a place in pugs with half a brain and have a few farming opportunities. Warriors are also good and have a very similar place to Para's. Mesmers are pretty meh unless you just like how they play. Rits and Ele's are pretty much in the same boat (though Rits are more useful now..).

However, if you ever plan on doing PvP, I'd save that slot. In fact, I try and keep two slots open for PvP chars, because my PvP monk is like 15 months old and is also my mule. But overall, it's up to you to decide what you want to do with the slot.

If I was in your position I'd make a Warrior (extremely useful in PvE + PvP, and can farm raptors as fast if not faster than any other profession). It's up to you though. Make what you want to play. Another option is to buy more slots.

I'd also go with a warrior. Useful in PvE, good in PvP. It's a 100% physical class so if you don't like to go close then i'd suggest a mesmer.

If you plan to get into PvP, it's really better that you have a PvP slot, as others said..

Otherwise, i would go with a warrior, but it's only my personal opinion..(IMHO it's not worth to use your PvE characters to do PvP, unless they're the characters you play and like more, because it's a pain to get the equipment needed for PvP with a PvE character..)

If you do PvE and not PvP, I would suggest a Ritualist. They are extremely fun to play in PvE now, with all the buffs and shorter spirit casts. A warrior or paragon for some adrenaline fun is a change from the other physical classes too.
