So i recently tried to do frostmaws HM. i got to the end of level 2 fine, but then, the door woukdnt open to let me get into level 3. i ran all over the entire dungeon trying to find the final wurm (if there is one) that i needed to kill but i couldnt find one, after 45 mins i got DPd out. Are there any tricks to get past this or was it just a bug?

Hmm I never had any issues there. After killing siege wurm at the door I could easily go through. Might be that you missed some frostmaw spawn.

probably this...I have never had any issues either...
having checked both the wiki's - I couldn't find any notable bugs either so best guess is you just missed something or one went underground

To get the gate to open at the end of level 2 you have to kill wurm AND the 3Frozen Elementals at the gate. If you did this, and it still wouldn't open it may be some rare bug, but i've never heard of such a bug.

i killed the worm+the 3 eles but it still didnt open, and i killed both frostmaw spawns that i could find, i checked the entire dungeon level and couldnt find another one so idk. thanks anyway

you said you dped out, then something must have been killing you, you probly needed to kill it to go through

Correct me if i'm wrong, but at the start of level 2 you have to talk to some npc and update your quest. If you didn't do this, it may be why you couldn't progress. I think at least 1 person in your party has to talk to him.

Well, it's very confusing then. It must either be a bug, or you did something wrong somewhere =P
And as i've never seen or heard anything about a bug like this, i'm inclined to think you done something wrong
Unless there was some bug created with the last update, but even so, i'm sure something would have ended up on guru about it.

My guess is that you missed something...but you did say you went around the entire dungeon. Well, part of the fun is going back (with honeycombs/candycanes/maybe a conset) and doing it again =]
