Hello again GwGuru Community;
Again I am in the need of your useful information and speedy replies.
Today I went off in my amazingly plain car to purchase a copy of the nightfall and Eyes of the North Expansions. But to my disappointment I found that Not only was Nightfall to be found in nothing but the 'three pack' including proph./factions/nightfall, but Eyes of the North is also nowhere to be seen!
I've resolved to purchase the games over the guildwars official website for $29.99 each; and I was wondering how this worked. Do I just purchase the game via bank-card, and am in return e-mailed an access key which I add to my already existing game?
I didn't see anything on the posting rules/etc. that was against asking such questions; if I've overlooked anything please inform me.
Either way, I'm going to put more money on my debit card tomorrow and get eotn/nightfall and hopefully be finished with the two games in a couple of weeks. Then I'll be with all of the skills, and familiarity that I need to make a farming build and start making my way up in the in game economy once again. ^.^
I've just recently returned from a....2-3 year break from the game and have seriously outdated gear/skills/game knowledge. So I'm sure that playing through these two expansions will get me up to speed. I found it funny that I was opening years 2-4birthday presents on 5 characters the other day.
Thank you for taking the time to read my long winded post,
Deltez Amiel
Don't sell nightfall/EoTn by themselves around here...

I believe, if you buy from the store [Meaning on game, Logging in your game then via that store], as long as you are signed in on the account you want to put the expansions on, there are no keys you need. It will automatically add the expansion to your account and you can login a character and go to KC / LA and do the quest to then play in your new expansion

if money is tight i would suggest looking at some of the online retailers such as amazon.com
you can usually save some and get the boxed copy of the game which comes with a free trial code in some cases which u could give to a friend
iRawrrr
i have the same problem. they don't sell Factions or Nightfall in canada anymore.

I would also suggest Amazon.com or Ebay. Just make sure you are buying a NEW copy, as a used copy will not have a usable access key (Both Amazon and Ebay will secure refunds in these instances if notified timely).

the in-game store is a rip off, im sure you can find a place near you that has them, or just go to amazon as suggested to save some cash.

as in the netherlands its hard to egt in a shop.
so i got it from offgamers:
you get an e-mail with a scanned in key from them.
fun part is, they want to know that your a real costumer, so they call you.
fun fun phone from amerika for me.

if a mod is here, could you explain me why offgamers site goes censored.

Again, thank you all for the quick replies.
As much as I'd like to save 5-10 bucks, I think I'll use the in game store method; because I'm pretty anxious to get started.
I only have a few weeks before my fall quarter starts, then I'm back to college!!
I didn't know about the in-game store, we never had it in 06' haha. I thought that you used their website.
Okay, hopefully I'll get a chance to bump into some of you in-game. ^^
