Does it worth playing again?

Hello everyone.

I use to play Guild Wars about 2 years ago and I really liked it. I came back to Guild Wars recently on a trial "because I can't remember my old account", anyway I played it till my trial expired but what I found out was that there's hardly anyone in towns anymore and most of them are empty?

So I been thinking about buying the full version again but I don't enjoy playing this game alone with henchmen or heroes, I find them very boring.

What happen to all the people? did a majority of players quit?

I play on Europe ( i've been up to lions arch on the trial and everytown / misison before that)

um all the towns ive been too are paked full of people

1- Anet will be happy if you buy another ccount but...try to remember your old one ^^
2- With an update earlyer than 2 year you can switch zone server (Europe to America ex) everytime you want to do...so find players is easy
3- Hurry Up and Build your Hall of Monuments

Yup. You've missed a ton if you stopped playing 2 years ago. Reinstall and explore away.

If the towns you're referring to are little outposts like Yaks Bend, Piken Square, etc., then yeah, I'm not surprised. Now if you're referring to big cities like Lion's Arch, Kaineng Center, and Kamadan, then you might wanna check what district you're in, because those places are normally quite crowded whenever I log in.

And yes, I would say it DOES worth playing again :P

Not as many people play in the Euro dis. Check the American dis in the big towns. Their packed.

Everybody plays on American servers now.

FInd a guild with nice people to play with, there are still tons of active guilds who would love to get a member like you.

Yeah, the reason you're not seeing many people is because they all moved to the american districts

You didn't say which campaigns you had. The busiest places all seem to be in the last campaign (Nightfall) or the expansion pack (Eye of the North). If you don't have them, you should definitely get them. Luckily, you can get the entire collection for really cheap.

BTW, if you can remember the email address you first registered your games with, you can contact support. They may be able to reactivate your old account.
