Confused about HoM

Ok so can someone clear this up for me,I know there was the whole big deal about it being made account based,but I don't really see any change in game about this...For example my main hall on my warrior doesn't show the bow I dedicated on my ranger,so it looks like to complete my hall I'll have to buy another bow and dedicate it on my warrior.

Talk to Kimmes The Historian inside to HoM to set the view to accountbased. He's at the entrance/exit.
