Account with all campaigns but only Prophecies installed???

Hm, couldn't think of the right title for this very complicated question lol.
Basically, I have a friend living in Korea who I play Guild Wars with. He says he can only get the LDoA title by playing in the US district (not sure if it's true) so that's where we both play. Of course, his computer's O/S is in Korean and thus his GW is all in Korean. He recently asked me if I'd like an account with all three campaigns on it because he has an extra that he never uses and I only have Prophecies. This account was registered by him in Korea.
My question(s):
Can the other two campaigns be downloaded and then sign in to the account? (like WoW, you basically pay for account and can redownload game as many times as you want)
If I'm using an account from Korea will my GW be in Korean or will it install/give me an option for English since I have an English O/S?
I can read/write Korean and know enough to speak semi-fluently but I'm lost enough in this game as it is. Adding a language barrier will only make me more of a newb I had already planned on purchasing the trilogy but since he's offering I like the sound of saving myself $50. Any help appreciated

It would be stupid if an english option wasn't available.. But I dno.
And yes.. In Guild Wars you only pay for the account, not the software itself. So just go ahead and download^^

imo, just save yourself the extra hassle and buy the games yourself.
50 bucks is 50 bucks, though.

If the account was already registered by him, I believe you are out of luck. You could use that account but you cannot add that account to your own.

Since the EULA forbids selling or giving away accounts, you should probably just buy your own copy rather than risk the Wrath of ANet. Posting about this on a forum read by ANet employees might not have been the wisest possible choice.

But to answer the original question: I would definitely buy my own stuff.

tl;dr if you buy it you're b&

It is in the end worth it more to just buy it yourself. That way, you are 100% sure where the account came from and you wont wonder why when one day you no longer can access the account.
Buy it yourself to save yourself from future problems.

Aww shucks. Generosity from a friend shot down by the EULA
Yeah I guess I'll just go buy the trilogy then lol. Oh and I'm a newb so I really didn't know. Wasn't trying to go behind ANet's back or anything haha. I'm surprised their employees read Guru, actually I'm impressed
One more question then: I am only assuming my friend's account is registered. But I think he may have said he just has the keys to create one. It's hard understanding eachother at times so I'll probably ask him to clarify later. Is receiving an unregistered key also against the EULA? He said he got his account/key from an event at an internet cafe (very popular in Korea for those w/o computers or wanting to play games where their parents can't see ). Since he already bought all the games prior to that, the account/key he won just sits around unused.

1. The gift of an unregistered account key is completely OK. It is a registered account that is not allowed to change ownership. This also prevents hassles with scammers who sell an account and then claim it was hacked.
2. I believe the language of the game is decided by your decision when registering the account. But, actually, I don't really remember as it was back in 2006. You can check out the Knowledge Base on NCSoft Support http://help.ncsoft.com/cgi-bin/ncsof...p_sid=2XAhw6Hj
3. ArenaNet employees are required to read the fan forums (at least the larger ones). This is to keep the company aware of what is happening in the community. Several belong to the forum and post when something catches their interest or they want to pass on some information.
