More RAM?
I am Jim
Ok guys heres the deal, I had piss poor FPS around 5-12 and I went out and bought 1GB of RAM and now my fps averages 23-26 almost always, i know still pretty horrible but thats what you get for buying a p.o.s. anyway im really not lagging at all anymore and my loading screens are exponentially shorter, my question is, would another gig of ram improve upon what I already have or would I just be wasting my time and money.

how much do you have now? as long as it is over 1gb (2gb if you are using vista), there's not much point in getting more RAM.
what WILL greatly increase performance is getting a better graphics card. you might want to look into investing into that.

need to know your system specs to really comment further...

As the above posters have stated above the best update that can be done is adding a dedicated graphic card if your system doesn’t have one. It will give the best performance increase when it comes to gaming. My system went from 15-20 fps to over 50-60 fps and I have a cheap 3650 card. This was a below $50.00 upgrade.
You can check your ram usage in task manager. If you do not need the ram it will just sit there unused. A big giveaway if you need more ram is the hard drive. Your hard drive will write to its self to compensate for no ram up to a certain specked out amount. If this is happening all the time you need more ram. Performance slows and the hard drive whirls constantly. Probably only see it doing this when multitasking or loading things. If it happens off an on randomly then don’t worry about it. But if it happens all the time then get some memory.
