If the damage is fairly high then nice, but regardless you DO NOT merch either of them, after all they are both commonly used as caster weapons in which case the damage/req does not matter.

I would merch them both as well, as these both are commonly dropped low req non-max. I have seen loads of gold r6 and r7 non-max elementals. Even though req does not matter, no one buys them non-max.... either use them or sell them to Skeletor.
