Dyeable Fire Wand

My brother apparently got a dyeable fire wand from the zaishen chest (how nice, q9 max damage ) so the problem of finding one has been solved

Most crafters and collectors (maybe all, never checked) have items that cannot be dyed. Some skins can't be dyed at all. Check the wikis and look up the various skins. You should be able to get info on dye for them. Some of the crafters skins are available as drops that can be dyed.

Click on the wand you want and on the wand's page it should say wether it is dyable or not.

None of the collector ones are 20/20 so the only place i can think to get clean wands is in Gunnars Hold from Keti or in Rata Sum from Nojj .

Fire Wand The article contains a list of crafters and collectors, and states that the wand is completely affected by dye, with pictures to show it. The crafter fire wands in EotN are inscribable.

sadly it may only be ones from prophecies

I don't know which ones are definitely dyable , but your best bet may be to try to get one as a drop or buy one that was a drop. Next bet after that would be a crafter in EotN.

I'll craft one in eotn just to see if it's dyable.

Edit: no I won't. According to the talk page, the eotn merchant version isn't dyable either.

Edit2: check this older Q&A thread for more confusion. At least one post suggests that fire wands dropped as loot in prophecies are dyable. At least from the starting post it could have saved you some money not buying one in the command post .

That's all the info I can find on dying fire wands on this forum dating back to august 2006. I think you're going to face the tough job of finding a 20/20 fire wand dropped as prophecies loot if you really want a dyable perfect fire wand.
