I expect I'm getting a rep on these forums for asking so many questions now hehe.
So, I have two questions, let us begin!
1) I have 23 Platinum, I was wondering can I afford to get a new and better scythe? The one I have is "so i have been told" to be terrible, so - what's the price on a good scythe? I really have no idea
2) Can someone explain Guild Factions (PVE) To me? My Guild right now has just over 3,000,000 Faction Points...but that means nothing to me. How do we raise it? WHy does it get lowered? What's a good faction level?
Thanks in advance,
Kaka

You can get max damage inscribable scythes for pretty much nothing if they are very common skins from other players. Otherwise you can get one from collectors or crafters. Shausha in the Command Post, for example, has an inscribable scythe for 40 iron, 6 wood and 5k. Hlengiwe and Hermehinu have max inscribable scythes for a few collectible drops, so basically for free if you don't mind farming those items for a little while.
You raise faction by donating it to your alliance. You can only donate in chunks of 5,000. Just go to the faction reward guy in your guild hall and select the 'raise alliance reputation' choice or something. Each day 10% of the total faction is taken off so people are encouraged to donate regularly. If you have high enough faction you might get to 'own' a town or outpost. This comes with benefits such as a cheaper merchant. If, like our, alliance, you're not bothered with owning a town or you don't have nearly enough members to get enough faction for this, you don't have to worry about the alliance faction at all. It doesn't matter for anything else.
P.S. In your other thread you listed a max damage inscribable scythe. If that's the one you are referring to, then (depending on the requirement) it's a perfectly fine scythe which you can completely mod to your liking.

Weapon upgrade wiki page
For example: an inscribable scythe can have 3 mods equipped at a time: a prefix (scythe snathe), a suffix (scythe grip) and an inscription.
You could add a Sundering Scythe Snathe, a Scythe Grip of Fortitude and a 'Strength and Honor' inscription to a Duskblade Scythe, making it a Sundering Duskblade Scythe of Fortitude.
An example of how it would look before upgrading:
Duskblade Scythe
Slashing damage: 9-41 (req. 9 scythe mastery)
Inscription: None
After upgrading:
Sundering Duskblade Scythe of Fortitude
Slashing damage: 9-41 (req. 9 scythe mastery)
Armor penetration +20% (Chance: 20%)
Inscription: "Strength and Honor"
Damage +15% (while health is above 50%)
Health +30
If you are applying a scythe grip to a scythe that has already one equipped, then the new mod overwrites the old mod. You can get mods by salvaging them from weapons with an expert, superior or perfect salvage kit.

Kamadan, at the moment those mods can be a liitle costy, if you don't wanna spend half of your money, it's best to just get a green scythe, they should not be over 5k

Kamadan is the best place to buy mods probably (or try the guru trade forum for convenience).
If you know what kind of mods you want your scythe to have, you can always check if there is a green scythe with those mods and farm it yourself or buy it, that could come out much cheaper.
This index features all green items, click on the profession you want the item for, in this case Dervish unique items, and search for a green scythe with zealous, s&h and enchanting mods. It turns out that there are four scythes that fit that description. Check which one is easiest to get and farm it, or just buy one of the four from any player who has one. Two of them are endgame items (prophecies and eotn), so if you're close to either endgame area you might want to finish and get one easy. Otherwise Asterius the Mighty isn't the hardest boss to kill, finding him is more of a problem .

I've seen a few green scythes on the sell section in these forums for 1/2/3/4k b/o's so its worth taking a look there.

Well I managed to get my Mods, this is what i've come out with:
Damage - 9-41 (req 9 Scythe Mastery)
Inscription - Strength and Honour
Damage +15% (While health is above 50%)
Enchantments Last 20% Longer
Energy Gain on Hit = 1
Energy Regeneration = -1 (minus one)
Damage - +20%
for the love of God, tell me that's a good Mod? LOL
