Did anyone else get...

Did anyone else get an email from an Artefactgroup.com address pertaining to a guild wars/mmo survey? It says I indicated in September of last year I would participate in future surveys (which is very possible, as I often forget to uncheck boxes like that) and If I complete the survey and a follow up interview I will receive the GW2 artbook. I know this is most likely a scam, but would just like to double check. Thanks in advance.

First of all, I've never heard of this.

Secondly, how is it a scam? Do they ask for your login address and password? If so, it's probably a scam .

Likely a keylogger on the website.

An email isn't harmful by itself just opening it, clicking an unofficial/outside or downloading a mysterious attachment IS harmful if it's a iffy situation.

Wouldn't recommend doing anything more than reading the email (don't click outside links or download attachments) before arenanet can confirm if this is real or not.

i also got this e mail seems to be ligit i have sent a thing to a net asking for someone to confirm it i will post if i get an answer back
