I'm just a pve noob whos made a perma to not constantly ask others for cash. I really have no clue how it's done though (already have failed w/ some groups), and some of the stickies don't really help (or work). Any tips would help (for PuGs mainly).
Also, how much rank would I need for the pve skills? Would low ranks still work? And what's the easiest UWSC to learn (think by looking at videos its would be chambers).

As said, utube is good place to learn, and imho wastes is easiest if u don't screw up xD and i still got low eotn ranks on me sin, doesn't interrupt me at all.

i do chamber/pits/plains/wastes with r2 everywhere. it hurts in plains most, because pools finishes the quest really fast and can get frustrated ranks aren't as important as your skill, better be slow and take longer to finish the area rather than die (or fail if reaper/souls die).

Learn on youtube before you join pugs please, it is really annoying when u fail...

If i were you...id get into the habit of keeping SF up before you do any runs. It takes a while to get used to putting it up every 30 secs ish. Then id start with wastes since its the easiest area to get to...and probably the easiest to do.
Ranks arent exactly REQUIRED, but if you want it to actually be a speedclear...id get r5+...

ye u can practice exploring underworld with deadly paradox, glyph of swiftness, SF and some dmg skills like sliver and ebon battle standard. go to wastes, kill some smites, go to plains kill some mindblades, go to pits. explore around and get a feel for it.
keeping SF up might seem annoying at first, but later it just becomes 2nd nature.
watching vids will help alot. and if you're ever in doubt, just ask someone on the team. usually there is at least one person that is an all area sin.
