Change profession

I recently started an assassin and made the mistake of just choosing monk then i learned about farming a bit and want to change it to elmentalist. I haven't gotten that far on it but would rather not start over. How far into the game untill u can change your profession in factions? Because I know I made it to level 20 in nightfall before I found the profession changer guy.

An exact location would be helpful, as well as any pre-req's that must be made to 'unlock' the ability to do this.

Its 1/4 through the game. 4 missions to be exact. To change secondary all you need to do is complete Nahpui Quarter to ascend, then pay 500g to Senji in Senji's Corner. Ask wiki if you want a list of all the primary quests involved as well.

You can change professions in Senji's Corner. I don't know if you've left Shing Jea island yet, but if you have, it would require beating the Vizunah Square and Nahpui Quarter missions, at which point you're instantly put in Senji's Corner.

You wouldn't be able to farm before finishing Nahpui Quarter anyway. Technically it would be possible, but you sound like you haven't really done much in the game and don't know the mechanics well enough. I'd advise you to at least finish a campaign before you start farming anything.
