Pre Searing Bear

I'm a Mo/R and I want a black bear as my pet. I know you can get them post searing but I want to know is it still possible to charm one pre searing?

Yes, it is. Presearing site has a guide:

There are also players in Ascalon that will help you for a set fee; usually, about 500g.

Thanks for that, I will try that. Thats what I've been trying, and failing xD.

I been trying but it's not working, we've gone through 12 bears. Is there anyone that can help me do it?

-The charmer has to be OUT of the Bear's aggro bubble.
-If you fail, just /resign and try again.
-The player who tanks the bear has to start running WHILE the bear casts Brutal mauling.

Also, you don't have to resign if you keep failing, just kill that bear and move onto a different one.

It is annoying, it took nearly an hour or so to get mine I think. Thanks to a fellow Alliance member for helping me out. Just need patience to stick it out and eventually it will work.

it was a pain for me at first, but after spending some time watching some videoes on youtube, it really helped me out. altough...i charmed the bear with my brother :P so it was a bit easier for me. btw watch out for noobs that "think" that they can help u charm a bear but just end up fai´ling big time.

make sure that you are standing so that the bear is exactly outside of your aggro range that is VERY important gl with your bear

you dont have to, but you should /resign if you fail to charm the 1st bear.

It takes a TON of work. Just hang in there, be willing to set aside a lot of time. I think it took me and my GL about 45 minutes for me to finally tame my bear Callisto.

Some words of advice: USE THE HILL.
