This is what we know so far, for customers who purchased a digital pre-order of Aion:
* The cross promotion applies to the physical retail box copies of the game.
* However, if you purchased the digital pre-order, you can contact Aion customer support and they will provide you with a serial code for the wing emote.

Let my Aion friends who pre ordered about this update, they both got their keys from support with the condition that the would not work, ie can't be added to account, until the release day of aion next week.
Mods move this if this is the bad place for it, just remembered there was a big up roar about digital download not getting the wings a few weeks ago.

These wings aren't money grabbing, so much as retarded. They have no place in the canon of guild wars and will further make towns and outposts look even more like a circus.

Regina made is specific that you contact Aion support, so I assume that means make sure the product you list is Aion and not Guildwars.

If you purchased it from a retailer...you get the emote
The guys who got it by digital download from ncsoft ect were excluded.
This has now been ratified...I can say I posted a ticket to aion/ncsoft
on this so had many others saying it was disspointed that ncsoft clients were
excluded in the first place

I'm sure this is exactly what customer support needs just as Aion is set to launch head start on Sunday the 20th. Open beta had so many problems for so many people just trying to log into the game that the extra 500 or so email's asking for a gw wing code will surely slow up the process of getting help to people that want to play Aion.

ok so i got my Aion copy today (pre-ordered) with access code, but when i try use the, my game crashes and tells me a serious error has occured.
so you can't activate the wings before the actual release (of aion) or is it something else?

I contacted support, but, quite unusal for my experiences with NCsoft support so far, I only got the automated response and nothing else in the 24h period they usually tend to answer support requests.
And still no answer after 56 hours. I felt free to update my petition asking if there is a problem.

How come when i try to make a ticket it asks me to register an account. I put on my email address to which my account is linked to but after typing up the ticket it just tells me to register by saying
"Please complete this form to register your e-mail address."
Then if i put in my account details it says "The email address you provided is already in the database. If you are having trouble, you can contact support by e-mail at [email protected]."
Its like YEAH I KNOW BECAUSE I ALREADY HAVE AN ACCOUNT! Seriously why wont it let me make a ticket?

I had actually contacted Support because i ordered digitally and got my code yesterday in the email so that went pretty fast.
Just make sure that when you contact support you supply your PlayNC Masteraccount so they can check that ^^
