best class for missions running,vq etc.

so i will be running missions and vqs and dungeons and what not with my cuzin and im trying to find the best class for it. the classes im looking into are monk,para,sin. i would be using the ap build with discordway or if i can find a way to run imbagon with discord then i would do that.

1. i would finish all campaigns on which ever i chose but this is what ive finished on each char,


A. monk- NF,nearly done with factions
B. sin- factions,eotn, easy way threw proph
c. para - eotn (spent over 150e between armor and chaos gloves)

2. ra hathor was a very very good runner that could run any mission and any dungeons just with his imbagon and discordway heros so i was wandering if any1 knew him or ran with him that they could let me know how he was able to use dway with an imbagon.

3. my cuzin uses monk with ap build and discord heros so sometimes if i were 2 do vqs or dungeons i know i would have to run a diff build and thats y im swaying towards the para.

I'm unsure as to what your question is, but im assuming "whats the best class for running this overall?" Well, i'd say monk for 600/smite. But still im unsure as to what you exactly want to find out.

(I don't spend much time in the campfire so i wouldn't know if this thread belongs there or not, but i'll answer your question as best as i can)

Monk for 600/smite, obviously not all dungeons run the same build, but it can clear most, if not; all dungeons.

Perma sin can also solo most things, e.g farm etc, UWSC (group) (also, soloing things like shiro with daggers etc, and 3 necro heroes) Monk can solo varesh with 2 necro heroes and Morgahn.

There are things like having speed clear dungeons with assassin groups.

So... it depends on what you really do, but overall id say Monk and Assassin.

are you sure he ran D-Way, afaik, and from a few builds he gave me, he didn't run dway..

There is no Best. its a matter of skill, perference, knowledge and a lil luck. i think everyone above has said enough.

well he ran me threw frostmaw ravens point and like 6 missions and used dway for all of them

Ra Hathor used a variety of builds including discord.

However you seem to have fallen into the "must use AP with discord" trap.

You can run anything with discordway, as long as you have 1 or 2 hexes either on your discords, such as putrid bile or something, or on your bar e.g. asuran scan on melees.

Paragon is the strongest for actually *playing* the game, but going godmode requires one specific build (TNTF+SY)... The class is perhaps the worst for solo farming though.

Monk is a good compromise between playing the game and farming. You are wanted in teams as a healer (sometimes as RoJ/smiter too), you can run AP with Discord heroes really well and you can 600/smite or 55 farm. I speak from experience as my "main" is a Monk.

Assassin is a lot of fun to play with, they deal crazy amounts of damage in melee. You are fragile, though, and in higher end PvE/Hard Mode you may want to make sure you have a Paragon, minions, and good Monk around to keep you up or you'll not last long under heavy fire in melee range. If things get ugly though, you can also run the AP build with Discord just fine, in fact you can even use runes to boost AP further and gain Energy better than any other class. Assassins have 4 Energy regen and with a staff you'll have enough Energy to play with the build.

Assassins are arguably the best farmers, but with Shadow Form upcoming announced nerf, this may change.

In the end, play the one you like the most... Heck keep all 3. Fun professions.

You mean what else besides these 3?You could use an Ele another Monk and Ranger or Warrior but I know how much Sins hate Warriors.

For running missions and dungeons i would work on your sin, some missions can be run with a sin, and if not, then critscythe works well with discord and is a blast to play. Don't run AP, its boring.

i was using asuran scan on my imbagon build but since SY TNTF and ebon honor are pretty needed for imbagon it wasent working to well. i was using asuran scan insted of ebon honor and it just didnt seem like enough damage. ive also herd of using racway, but ive seen alot of people saying some skills that were required for it got nerfed so im not sure if this still works well or not.

When you say running, do you actually mean having paying customers who you will do VQs etc for? Or, do you mean you want a character to play through the game with your cousin with?

EDIT: hrm sry I missed that your cousin is already monk. Sin or monk would do fine - if sin you can run parts of dungeons, if monk you can smite while he 600's or vice versa.
