Ferry ???

Question:
If I have a tyrian character who travels to kamadan via the 'unlock travel to nightfall' quest and then gets a ferry to the consulate docks can she then get the quests to make the sunspear sanctuary 'happen' or is she just able to run around on the mainland?..does the ferry 'skip' the quests and missions inbetween arrival in kamadan and the consulate docks mission?

Or, if that didnt make sense...If I have a low level elonian character, and i get her a ferry to the consulate docks and then a ferry to cantha, can she then play through factions? or is the ferry just to get you somewhere even though you cant do anything??

The reason I ask (if it helps) is: The sunspear sanctuary holds the headgear I want for one of my tyrian characters, I have played through the istan part of nightfall about 7 times...if theres a way to just pay $$$ and 'POOF' into the sunspear sanctuary, buy my face tatt and get the eff out of there, that wuld be pleasing.

Yes the only thing you would have to do is Consulate Docks (Mission) I beleive

You can get a ferry to the consulate docks outpost, but you can't do the mission Consulate Docks if you haven't done the previous quests. You have to do the quest The Time Is Nigh (the ferry quest) for yourself to be able to do the mission Consulate Docks. And for The Time Is Nigh there are other prerequisites.

In Factions and Prophecies, you can do anything you want with ferried characters.

So no, you can't get to the sunspear sanctuary that easily.

Bringing a Tyrian over to Kamadan you just need to do the mini mission with Kormir, then go to the docks, do that mission, head to sunspear sanc, clear out the monsters zone into the sanc then the basic 1K armorer will be outside. If you want the 15K stuff then you just need to do the building the base quest/s, but they take all of 5 mins to do.

If you got a ferry to the docks without doing the mini mission, you couldn't do the mission, the NPC tells you you haven't had your orders yet.

If an elonian gets a ferry to the docks, and then onto Cantha, then they can happily wander around Factions + play through the missions and everything. Just be sure to speak to the NPC as you zone into the pier

If you check the wiki, you would see that for Consulate Docks the prerequisite is The Time Is Nigh and that for that quest the prerequisites are different for elonian and non-elonian characters.
