Added Nightfall to my account...

Originally bought Platinum Edition so I have Prophecies and EotN but just bought Nightfall. When it gets here do I need to install the disk or will adding the key give me access without need of taking the disk out the box?

99.9% sure all you need is the product key - as you can buy them individually from the NC-soft website....

No you do not need the disc only the key.....

Just below your log-name you will see the part to add the key to your existing account

Just make sure you are adding it to your existing account

If you anywhere else you will be creating a new account so dont rush just take

your time and confirm each prompt you will recieve

Guild Wars is fully downloadable, no need for installation disks.

All you need is the key, this attaches to your account.

When you bought the material version, your buying the key, manuals, and bonus materials that come in the nice displayable box. The discs are basically to reduce the amount of dl material. For example, when I use all my discs to re-install gw (after an os switch) I accidentally hit the dl command and started to dl what would take around 10hours, with the discs, it took 20min for all patches.

once you add the key you will have access, and your game will update (i'm assuming you have it installed already)
