How you make pets attack faster? I have phoneix from endgame factions, I have pet dmg skills, but he does them pretty slow, and he attacks slow to. How do I increase his attacking speed? If I can't which pet has the fastest attacking speed?

You have to use skills. The Nightfall elite Rampage as one is 33% faster, the Nightfall Sunspear skill Never Rampage Alone is 25% faster. Both also increase your attack speed.

All pets have the same attack speed, but Black Bears have an attack skill that results in them hitting less in a given time than any other pet.

If you're running a paragon, this is a good thing because it'll trigger chants/shouts, iirc.

Yes these 2 skills and a few paragon skills.

And actually its only the black bears from pre-searing that do that, the ones from the shiverpeaks do not. :P

Wrong. All Black Bears will use Brutal Mauling. The ones in Pre use the skill Breaking Charm (or something like that) to prevent being charmed. Only in pre do they have the Charm Animal cancel skill, but Brutal Mauling is dependant only on the animal type, not where it was charmed.

There was an update that changed many of the chants and shouts to only affect party members. Pets are not considered party members, they are allies.

For it to work, it must be for allies and be either a Song or Anthem. This means Anthem of Flame, which was one of the more popular shouts, no longer works. From one of the wikis, it shows that the skills: Disruption, Weariness, Envy, Purification, and Restoration are the only shouts that provide a benefit that might work with Brutal Mauling.

Pet skills in the Beast Mastery line can boost the attack speed of a pet, or of a pet and his master.

try to use a search function(gwwiki, google, w/e) before asking about facts.
