account hacked.

Basicly my roommates account got hacked again recently and now since that has happen for some reason my account is blocked too? Could it be because my friend who lives in another time zone changed my password and ncsoft thought it was a danger or was it because since my roommate uses the same IP or whatever as me they blocked my account just incase?
