Hey I was wondering can you change creatures in TexMod? Example would an aatxe to a wolf.

If you can, that would be freaking awesome.

Thanks!

EDIT: If you can, please tell me how.

no. texmod = texture modification. It doesn't change models. You can put the skin of an aatxe on a wolf etc but it would look weird. certain armors and things have the same model and with texmod you can switch textures etc.

But don't get attached to anything functional or something that you like in TexMod because game updates appear to randomly make it completely unusable. Since GW only ignores the use of it, they don't have to care when they ruin someone's game experience or prevent them from being able to see what they are doing when mapping. Afterall, TexMod doesnt matter to them, it's not theirs, and the ability of customers to get things done doesnt matter to them either. (Given the way they fail to fix things that prevent successful play.)

You seem mad for some reason.

This is because they (possibly) change the texture address of most textures as a way (i think) to try and prevent people from abusing texmod (making it easier for pvp'ers) because anet can't tell if you are using texmod. Also, lulx, you mentioned mapping... dude. Download the latest TPF pack off the offical wiki and it will work. Btw, all my mods continue to work, maybe Anet just modifies YOUR guildwars DAT to piss you off more than you are now?

In fact, I've learned that texmod dosen't even touch any game you use it on at all. If you want proof all you need is 3d Ripper DX while using a texmod, when you capture all live textures, your mods will not show, this is because Ripper DX takes texture from the game while TexMod runs in the direct X layer (temporary). So this program can be as abusive to the game as you want it, yay! This is of course my actual take on texmod, if anyone has proof that it literally temporary modifies the DAT, show me, but you wont because it dosen't,

OP. No...you can only replace/modify/capture textures, polygon modification is something that would require a program to modify the GW.DAT, which as I said earlier texmod doesn't even do itself.
