Xunlai House coming back?

It's been down since May, anyone have any news when it will be back up?

No one knows for sure. And with all the work being put into GW2, I doubt it will be back soon if at all.

there are major flaws in it that need to be worked out. no info on what these flaws are and they dont want to give us false hopes if they are unable to fix them. so its possible that it will not go back up, but purely because it is too buggy, not because of some z-key economy worry.

its probably a tactical move of em, they probably alrdy planned to remove it( to drive people from gw, but who'l say)

They said they were doing it in 3 parts. 1 was taking kun shao away. They might bring him back in the pvp update. Who knows.

Personally, i don't think it will come back (at least not any time soon). But hey, who knows.

Just remember they do have a lot on their plate, so be thankful for what they are trying to do.

I really hope that xunlai house never ever comes back again...getting cash for other players hard work is rather meeeeeh imo

There's no point for these ideas anymore. A multi-million dollar corporation dosen't cause it's players to leave, I'm beginning to wonder if anyone who says things like that actually have an ounce of real brain in their head.

Wow, after that smackdown chris layed I would be totally embarrassed to voice my opinion ever again on these forums.

they have said in official release notes i'm pretty sure the same ones released around the time of the gw2 announcements that they were taking kun shoa out of the game due to everytime someone clicked on him it screwed up work that they had already done....

then they said that they believe they had the issues resolved and were moving it into harsher testing to make sure that they got THE problem so once they re-released it it wouldnt just break back down after the uber amount of players go to access it. they did however say that if they did not have the problem fixed and that the testing shows that it would take even more time to fix then what they really want to devote to it then they would most likely not focus on the xth anymore and they would most likely not release it.....

i dont have the thread i got this info from but it was in the same log as them saying that they were taking a serious look into uwsc's and shadow form. hopefully they have the issue resolved and are now in the later stages of their testing with things going well. cause as the way i read the notes it said if things didnt look good in testing it was going to be taken down most likely indefinately

if you have ignorant opinions like the ones chris reviewed then i agree you should not voice your opinions on this forum... then again if you BELIEVE in your opinions then you should be able to voice them AND defend them.... if you cant defend them then sadly you shouldn't have voiced the said opinion in the beginning.

I'd say just to keep Ken shao out of the game and make people access the house from the browser. I hope ANet still has time for fixing this... they probably don't but I still have hope.

Thanks, Whenever I hear someone say the game is dying or anet is, note, purposefully causing players to leave their game (hurting the company of course) then I'm going to say something because it's just plain retarded. I know most of these people are just ignorant kids who have nothing better to do. Seriously though, these people here need to learn how to be a part of or run a multimillion dollar MMO with more then one game, constant competitors and other things to worry about (like silly worlds lawsuits) BEFORE they can judge anet's actions.

I can see it now, In the imagination of a guild wars player's head:

Joe: Hey boss lets screw our customers and get rid of XTH.
Bob: Great idea, lets **** our sales and cause players to leave.
Joe: dont forget to tell the employees to ban some people for the lulz
Bob: will do, this will surely cause lower sales in gw2 than expected, excelent for a company's survival in a declining shit USA economy.

I would actually love it in-game 100% though. I know i've pushed steam's in game browser application, but this is a part of GW and IMO you shouldn't have to go to a web page and make some extra account to link to a gw account just to make predictions and get the items in game, Honestly it should be done in game with a simple window that Kun Shao can summon up for you. No extra accounts or passwords to remember than absolutely necessary. An added bonus, if someone hacks your predictions account they can destroy your predictions before they are set in stone...with the in game system it would be even more secure.

That would require you to put up cash to cover the bet. This is more like free monthly gifts.

Oh I know, didn't mean to say bet or whatever but seriously they have done a lot for this game. Having this service was a great thing, I made lots of money from z-keys I otherwise wouldn't because I sucked at farming or playing PvP (at the time) to get b.faction. It was a fun thing to have. Hope it comes back, but no one realizes how serious something can be, just because it is gone dosen't mean they don't care. For all we know it might have been to save money because after all, what happened to that worlds.com lawsuit?

I kind of wish they would quit interacting with the community though, maybe they would actually get things done and focus on their work more, these communities are a plague to this great game.

XTH is, well was, like giving a candy to a child and while he's enjoying it brutally taking it away!!!
I'm not surprised by this ANet does that all the time! But I really don't care anymore there are lots of other games.

Less players = less bandwith + typing stuff on a forum doesn't rly reflects what u rly think, it just gives a possibility.
