New condition: Nausea
Nuclfus
Nausea. Your character feels so sick and throws up vomit every 5 seconds, losing 25 health each time. Make it caused by Putrid Bile, Unholy Feast, Feast of Corruption, Taste of Death/Pain, and maybe Ether Feast too.
Since it is not degen just losing amounts health at all one time but then again over and over, this makes the condition stack on top of other conditions even if you already got the maximum -10 degen arrows. And I made it equal -2.5 health degen/sec so it is weaker by itself compared to bleeding/poison/burning and so it isn't too overpowered.
I thought about making it to interrupt you plus with the health loss to symbolize your muscles in the stomach making you bend over from having pain when you vomit, but I thought that was overpowered so no.

You get a nervous breakdown and move and attack 33% slower for 10 seconds.

consider how many people actually plays gw now, it won't make a difference whether there is a new condition or not.
JupiterStarWarrior
Sorry. This game does NOT need a new condition.

To be honest, i think it would be a good thing to add more conditions. There are so many hexes and enchantments and so few conditions.
How about
Weakminded - Enchantments lasts only for 80% of it's duration and Hexes last for 20% longer.
Confused (Close to Dazed but it's not the same) - You have a 10% chance to miss with attacks.
Weary - You activate enchantments and hexes 20% slower and move 10% slower. Arrows move 20% slower.

Honestly, who doesn't know how much degen does. You learn it in second grade that 1 arrow equals... I didn't pass first grade but that is besides the point.
I just tried "balancing" skills and it's hard as hell. As most skills already do a lot of damage and making most of the skills match that is... bad.

and to the topic nty we have enough conditions i would rather have them spend time fixing skills instead of adding more things to work with.

It would be great idea for char whom drank too much of alcoholic beverage. However, implementing nausea skill in the system isn't the great idea and takes a lot of complication coding to make nausea works. Like Anet said, no more new skills introduced to the game because too many skills/elite that already broke guild wars -- even as new pve-only skills introduced to the game in a while ago already broke pve guild war and making hard mode into "too easy" mode.

So why not post all these threads on the GW2 forum ?
The chances of a totally new skill outside of a festival dungeon are somewhat less than zero.
Not knocking new ideas its just very unlikely to be incorporated into GW ditto new classes new worlds new maps etc
New types pf pvp yes almost certainly anything else and I'm not holding my breath.
Anet please prove me wrong and create 2 new classes with appropriate skills 20 new skills for the old classes and a new map area for the new year.
Failing a reply by November I will ask Santa instead.

Side effect of poison? Anyways /notsigned - too many different conditions already.

i would think we already get nausea from "poison" and "disease". there are enough conditions already.

This condition could actually work, but it'd need a more closer examination. Maybe in GW2?

i would like to see some new conditions, and this would be cool to see sins spike and their chain being interupted because they'll have to vommit
also i vote blind - casters have 10% chance of targetting the wrong foe/Ally

Alright, maybe it isn't so easy at all, i thought there were many to be discovered. Just think of all the conditions we can have in real life.
But then again, they try to be realisitic but isn't really excelling. Burning.. If you burn irl - chances are you'll die quickly. If you get a Deep Wound, it doesn't heal in 20 seconds, you bleed to death.

Well, i think a version similiar to this could work, but not as explained by OP. Gw1 doesn't need new conditions though so maybe something similiar in Gw2. However this is just my opinion. --- Insert Abuse Here ---

Please do not post joke threads in Sardelac.

Because the mechanics in GW2 are already established at this point in the development and they're not going to add random crap like this.

I just think making suggestions about new skills in this game far less likely to bear fruit than similar suggestions about a game yet to be released.
I could have suggested no one makes any similar threads here again but that's even less likely to happen than a new skill in gw being created.
good and bad suggestions will continue its just a case of finding them a good home.

"Fixing" skills is a highly subjective procedure, and i consider it just as useless as new conditions at this point.

...Ew. No thanks, ESPECIALLY if there's some kind of new animation for it. (Weak stomach FTL)
Yes, it could be interesting, but we really don't need it. We have plenty conditions already. "Nausea" seems like it would be a combination of poison, cracked armor and weakness, or at least that's what comes to mind when I think of nausea in Guild Wars.

Ewwww gross. This game would go down about 10 points if my character started puking every time she got diseased or poisoned. I can handle blood and guts more than people puking. Yuck. lol
