The ads are completley out of control. I have to deal with a daily pop up when I first log on, and now ads at the top of every thread and embedded in most posts. You remind me of my local toyota dealership, which runs ads all day in all media to the point of inescapability. I think you should be ashamed of yourselves for allowing your forum to be litterd with all this garbage, and forcing your loyal users to endure an unending blizzard of unwanted solicitation. What's next? Selling user lists?

You aren't logged in if you are getting all those ads. Logged in you should have a roll-up that occurs and the horizontal banner at the top.

You could always chip in a few $$ if the ads bother you so much...thought not.

Not sure why, but I was logged out there for a couple days. I thought that was some new wave of ads. It made it pretty unpleasant to read most posts.

Or are you not familiar with the Guru Select program? That's all Malice is referring to.

I am familiar with it. I am also aware of the costs, and accept some ads to deal with that. But what I was seeing is way over the top. I still think that way, even though the worst is reserved for the the lurkers who don't sign up or log in. That amount of very intrusive ads is way too much, but since I don't have to look at it as long as I've logged in I'll quit griping about it.

You can turn them off Grim since you're a Select member. If you go to the top of your screen there's a 'disable ads' you can click on.
