Or $40.20 Au for all 4 panes.
Yes I know the panes are convenient on an account saving swap trading between accounts but still cost wise it's cheaper to buy a new game.

For that matter, the CD doesn't even do anything beyond provide you with the free game software and some of the free .dat info. The account (a purely virtual product) is not tied to the CD.
Your CD is just a bit of data to boost you on downloading the game. Would you feel better about online storage if they mailed you a ticket/cd/whatever when you bought it?

My god what a bunch of QQ's. The game has no subscription of course they will have to charge for Premium type additions. Storage is ALWAYS considered a premium service in all games I have played. Just cause you would prefer to but another mule dosen't meant the rest of us would. More over just buy the mule no point in making yet another post concerning Item transactions, it's all been QQ'd/said before. Freaking ingrates can't be happy for what you have, can't appreciate the work others do. If you don't like it, leave, No One Will Miss You.

If you need the panes, buy them. What is really the big deal here? I bought them all before this discount hit and I'm glad I did it. Not only do I have the benefit of freeing up space on alts I got to support Anet financially on a game I play for free in a landscape otherwise full of pay-to-play games. Are they overpriced? Probably. If a few microtransactions keeps them afloat though I am all for it.

The reason the panes don't sell is that they came after the game was stagnant. No one likes the microtransactions but if Anet released a new campaign those storage panes would be sold out. Why the hell would people who finished the game with no adventuring left to do even need storage? The storage need was greatly exaggerated by a vocal minority. If you finished the game and got GWAMM in 2007 why would you buy storage in 2008 or 2009 with no new content? They released the panes after there was no need for storage.

Yeah they won't be price effective over another mule until they are 1/4 price since you get like 100+ slots with a mule and actually more now with that extra pack you can get from zkeys. let's see 20 slots main then two 10 slots and one 5 slot and then up to 20 more slots then 25 heroes x at least 2 (more specific here half weapon and half offhand) and then rune slots of 25 x 10 (2 per armor slot right?) what's that all come out to?

Yol's not saying he misread the date (I know all about the day/month/year vs month/day/year thing). After all, the thread title says Oct 7th... which can't be misconstrued any other way. We know it isn't a thread res.
Yol's entire post is saying that "he thought this was an old thread" because people were making the same arguments that they were making in other threads from months ago. Not that its literally an old thread. But that it is the same information as an old thread.

Even after I got Gwamm, they still serve me well because I have dozens of team synergy setups with different weapons and what not, so even today they save me time as I have to switch less through mules and placing stuf in and from the chest. Less time browsing means more time of actual playing.
It's about efficiency which is something I personally find important. If that makes me a sorry sucker with extra $ to throw around, so be it.
