My current build is
Phenom IIx4 945
ASUS M4A78T-E
4GB Corsair Ram
XFX Radeon 4890 1GB
1TB HDD
Samsung 22" monitor
750watt antec PSU
Windows 7 Ultimate (beta)

When I run crysis at "Gamer" settings at default settings I only avrg 25 FPS which is upsetting. When I try overclocking + running crysis my enitre screen freezes.

Guild Wars runs @ an avrg 245 FPS so im fine there. Its just high preformance games that are upsetting me.

yeah well, crysis is not a particularly good benchmark. it's reputed to be badly coded in many ways. try something a bit lighter, like farcry 2 or stalker:clear skies.

yeah, Cyrsis is not optimized well - you ought to get higher FPS than that though, what drivers do you have?

I found a small problem. My drivers are out of date and when I go to update them, I get an errror stating the "INF File was not found'

Try using .... Driver Sweeper, i think its called. It should be able to remove your video card drivers and let you start from scratch. Do this in safemode.

www.3dguru.com has a good free driver sweeper program that I have used before with good results - like Wrath said, use it in safe mode.... full instructions for it on that site too btw.
