GW2 Release Date?

On the Gamestop site they say that the release date is 11/2/2010, which seems possible, it would be before Christmas in 2010 and Arenanet said that it was probable to come out in 2010-2011, however they did not post this on the official Guild Wars site or the official Guild Wars 2 site. A friend of mine called Gamestop and they have confirmed that this is the official release date for preordering the game. Does anyone else know anything about this?

All dates are to be considered as a placeholder until they have come out of Anet's mouth.
