Polymock Help
KingCrab
I stink at Polymock, I really do. Yet, I still want to get the Azura summon skills for my character. Guild Wiki has nothing but two opening strategies, so I'm sure there have been some good posts somewhere that I can't find. Does anyone know of a good polymock guide?

the wiki one is a good starter. then just play it several times, don't forget to get your brain with you. a bit of watching, analysing and thinking and you'll beat them in no time
also decide which mocks will you use upfront - some are just better than others, while most of them differ with strategies required. i personally use fire imp / fire elemental / gargoyle, as i have no droppable mocks, but it all depends on your style.

There are also some suggestions on the page corresponding to the specific polymock quests, check the unofficial wiki and the wiki discussion pages for more. You might wish to (temporary) optimize your interface for polymock - quite often a good interrupt or block can give you a decent advantage and the standard interface isn't very good for this imho. Probably many will disagree but consider buying a cheap purple/gold polymock piece if you have bad trouble against Blarp - he is a real pain.

play around with different starting chains.
guildees of mine generally had problems following wiki guide as well
trying to dodge just made them worse.
you can beat everyone including hoff without ever dodging.
as for my piece preferences:
mergoyle < gargoyle < skale < fire imp < kappa < fire elemental < earth elemental
i dont use any others.

The wiki advice is the way to go. Start with you hardest hitting skill so it won't get interrupted and follow this with block then concentration. Spam your other skills but always reapply block and concentration when they recharge. Pay close attention to your energy and use ether signet when needed. If your health drops below 50% use glyph of power as often as pos.
I find that enough to concentrate on and ignore what the foe is doing.
It helps greatly if you can borrow some purple or gold pieces from a friend who has completed polymock.

i also had alot of probs with this! Ur best bet is to get a naga gold polymock. There v good and underrated. U can get 4 bout 10k. its worth spendin the cash 4 the stress it saves! Gl

Agree with the above. Invest in a couple of decent gold pieces. It will save you lots of frustration. (You'll still need to learn to play but it will be easier.)

I had some frustration trying to get through this too. Finally I caved and I bought a ruby djinn piece for around 15k. After that it was a breeze with the occasional second try. Well worth the small price.

Just strafe. u miss half their damage. any dart spells (flare, stone daggers etc) will miss them and winning will be easy. other than that, just save block and interrupt for their big attacks, and only use big attacks when u know theyll hit.

I sucked too untill i got a couple Gold Pieces
Mylina
I learned it using RobVanDerSloot's guide on Incgamers, without buying anything..

i was in the same boat as you, and what i did to get the good asura summoning skills costs about 15k: ruby djinn piece. it is so pwnage and blazes through all the polymock guys; literally

Strafe on anyone that has spells you can dodge.
Crap like sandstorms and savannah heat stand on one corner then move to other, grats you jsut dodge their hardest hitting attack.
Start off with strongest hit, then shield, then just pewpew.

instead of using concentration, just shoot them with your weak spammable spell when they have an interrupt recharged. saves time and energy.
