Why can't we wear weapons on our backs in towns and ooc?

I don't get it. Like EVERY game now a days has this feature. I hate how my weapons are always hidden when in town... sword and shield should be carried on ones back for display.


Please add this Anet! Its such a little thing...

How is this a little thing? I don't see how this much work could be considered a little thing.

Also, I'm fairly certain this issue has come up before and I'm sure there are already threads on this.
