New production run of Collector's Editions?

A few weeks ago I ordered NF CE for £10 from an online store in the UK. It listed it as In-Stock when I ordered however it did take a while to arrive. I emailed the store and they said that they were waiting for stock from their supplier, eventually it shipped out and I got it in perfect condition.
I did the same with Factions CE when that showed up for £12.

Also CD Keys do work globaly as I bought a Platinum Edition of Prophecies (Proph+EotN) from Newegg ($10) and added it to the above games that were purchased and registered in the UK.

Just be vigilant and hold out until they say it deffinately isn't coming, either way you're not losing out really just annoying that they advertised something that wasn't actually in-stock but these things happen. At least they are honouring the price for you.

There is probably a big stock of Factions and Nightfall Collectors Editions just floating around in stock rooms as they seem to popup for under £20 every so often and I doubt they are being reproduced (as that would cost a lot) but that stores just want a quick sell of old games that they get stock of.

So, essentially you are paying 80 dollars for a Kuunavang and a Varesh, when you could just buy them ingame? Am I missing something here?

The collector's editions come with many extra physical non-in-game items.

The collectors items that come with the CE are far cooler than a mini Kunni, though it does make the package that much sweeter.

My collectors editions came today; they are fantastic! Big ups to Anet, for creating a brilliant set of CEs! I especially love the cloth Ritualist picture

Well, it took a month but I got my order confirmation yesterday, for both collector's editions at the $10.49 price. Even a few days earlier than the 11/17 newest estimated date. Luckily these were only for a 2nd account, though it would have been nice to have them during the Halloween event.

So while it was indeed a price mistake, since so few people believed my original post or had any interest, they were still cool about it and honored the price for any orders that got in before they changed it to 29.90 each.

I believe it was FedEx ground shipping so I should have it by the middle of next week.

I just got my order, both are the full complete Collector's editions, large box and all the extras. In mint, new and sealed condition. Not a bad deal, despite taking over a month to get them. Now I just wish I'd ordered a bunch more to sell on Ebay =)

All you naysayers were completely wrong after all. Sure it was a price mistake, but they honored it and I ended up paying $28 shipped for 2 collector's editions. Thanks gogamer.com for taking the high road, honoring the price mistake and coming through with the order.

And, as promised: here are the results. I received the 4 CE's I purchased in mint condition this afternoon. I had just about forgotten about the order, but GoGamer came through without any inquiry or prodding on my part.

I also ordered (and received) a $30 Factions CE from Sweden, which arrived much faster. But overall, 5 CE's for the original price of just one worked out pretty well.

To my knowledge Amazon still have them pretty cheap the only new production of collectors editions i would need notice of though would be the original version.

Not Amazon US. Maybe in Europe or the UK. That's sort of the point of this thread, the cheap ones in question are UK imports.

Got mine last night. Hot ****, the UK version box totally beats the USA one. I look at my UK Factions CE and US Nightfall CE and just laugh at the NF one

Mine came just now. Great deal. Made myself and my son very happy. I really appreciate that gogamer.com gave us the CE's at the erroneous price.

In case anybody was still wondering, I have linked the new import Nightfall CE code to an existing US Prophecies/Factions/EotN account and it worked just fine. I got all the items including the in game mini pet.

This same vendor had them on sale again for 16.90 yesterday, not sure if the sale is still on. They tend to do 48 hour sales.
