Getting online in university

I'm trying to connect to Guild Wars servers online from my university dorm (just bought the game) but I think the ports here are blocking me. I can't get onto Xbox Live, either.

Does anyone know a quick way to get around this?

Short of talking to the network managers at your uni, there's not too much you can do.

if you have another computer outside of the dorm you can vpn to it.
