Skill point max?
nunix
I realised I currently have 99 skill points unspent.. and I'm wondering if I've been "losing" points because 99 is the max. -.- I.. just kinda forgot about them for awhile.
Kurald Galain
No 99 definitely isn't the max. My Paragon currently has 442 unspent ones. And am sure there are people with more.
Edit: and i doubt there is a max.

Whew! Good to know. Thanks.
Covah
there are people with 3000+ skill points. There is no max.
Eragon Zarroc
the max would be a bunch more 9's if it even exists. like 999999 or something ;-)
Gboy Mesmero
the max is probably the max integer value, which is about 2 billion
Aussie Boy
613 unspent here so if it's 2 bill i have nothing to worry about. lol
Marty Silverblade
Miss Sarah Lauren
I have 2500 unspent skillpoints.....
Bob Slydell
There are people with 10k+ skillpoints at this point, haha.
Zeff Nut
I farm a lot with my monk in HM and have 2700+ skill points on him, no problems getting more yet
Tripolityx
5,521 skill points here so yeah don't worry about the points =P

I'd disagree with this. The number of skill points is stored in a certain amount of space that Anet allocates it, which would probably be 2^something.

100 000 gold max on your person
999 999 (i think?) gold max in the xunlai chest
250 max per item stack (probably since 2⁸=256, but they did cut it down to 250)
Songbringer
I agree with the integer theory. It is most likely stored in an integer variable which maxes out just over 2b.
killerbot3009
yeah, it is all about the amount of units allocated so yes 2 something sounds round about right. a lvl computing almost paying off xD

4715 points here
Quaker
Actually, it's quite possible that the skill points could be stored as a simple 2-byte value - that still comes out to 65,535 though.
(It's definitely more than 256.)

do you all mean the skill points in the skills and attributes pop up window? mine do not go up at all since i hit level 20, or am i getting confused? lol

Nitpicking: 16,777,216(-1) would fit in same byte-space considering currently popular 8bit=1byte design.
