Thoughts on tomorrow's Z challenge? (hero battles aka RR day)

Anyone have any thoughts on tomorrows zaishen challenge? Hero Battles also known as, red resign day. I know Gaile posted something on hero battles about RR being cheating (on gw wiki). Anything done to fix this yet?

they are REMOVING HB and TA thats what they are doing with it. People have just given up on it and started doing RR day to grind points until the title is frozen.

I know it will be removed. I also know RR is considered cheating now. What do you think tomorrow's going to be like anyways? This is not a hostile thread just nice questions.

Tomorrow is going to be like all the other RR days. People spamming "Happy RR day!" in HB and GToB and raging at people that don't resign or leave like RR is an actual rule or something. It will be gone in 2-3 weeks (hopefully the pvp update comes during the halloween setup) so Anet doesn't even care about it.

Anet doesn't even know when they will remove it, out of 3 quarterly updates we should have, we have oh...1.

There will be 24 hours of uninterrupted faction and point farming, because ANet can't be counted on to actually take action.

Yeah. Unfortunately even if they call it cheated, I don't think that's going to stop anyone from doing rr. Thats 3/4 guild wars community right there.

who cares? just another problem anet created, add it to the list of many that takes forever to fix, if it ever gets fixed. yes they plan to remove it, but i have a hard time trying to believe Anet never thought something like this could happen after past probelms in the last 4 years. are the GW1 designers that out of touch with the game? look how fast they split manta of resolve after the community when crazy after the recent change. knowing hero battles are being removed they couldnt of done an update to remove it from the z-combat rotation once they announced hero battles were being eliminated. plain and simple they left it like this because, just like UWSC, its one of the few things that keep whats left of the player base logging in.

Try to use search. There have already been countless posts regarding RR. This post is the latest still-open (to my knowledge) post and more constructive regarding the topic of RR.

Agreed. What most people need to realize is that RR isn't going to lead to an increase in the value of ectos long term. It's going to lead to a decrease in the value of z-keys.

At least 50 dists in HB.

And 30 constantly in GToB.

For some reason, I smell a server roll-back. This incident is somewhat like the ecto's price drop incident 3 years ago.

What they reset the merch prices? that would be so sweet, ectos, black dyes for 100g a piece

Ecto's price wotn drop as long we have UWSC.

My advice: Keep/sell z-keys later, after HB is removed.
