Not sure if this is the correct place, but hopefully it is (for generally skill-related D questions):
1) What is a good dervish build that doesn't require any Faction skills/profs? (This includes AoHM, as, if memory serves, you need Factions/GH to grab it, neither of which I have).
2) I'm seeing a lot of general armor set ups (most common is SM helm +1 SM, +1 Myst, Vigor, Vitae and +1 Earth OR another rune, not sure what though). Also, what are good Insignias to put on armors? Do insignias stack?. Also, can you have insignia AND rune on same armor? Best insignia I've seen mentioned is Windwalker, except that's the ONLY one I see, so put it on all pieces???
3) Weapons: What are good hilts/snathes? I'm seeing Zealous/Sundering or Vampiric I think? And 15^50 as well, but I can't remember if 15^50 overrides snathes/hilts.

My Derv generally runs something along the lines of:

Wounding Strike/Reapers {E}
Chilling Victory
Lyssa's Assault ~ For a bit of E management when used with attackers insight.
Victorious Sweep (or sometimes pain inverter in place of the 4th attack if I am running H/H)
Attackers Insight ~ to power Chilling and Lyssa's
Asuran Scan
Conjure Lightning/Frost/Flame as appropriate for the area.
Drunken Master + alcohol for the IMS/IAS
Scythe Mastery 12+1+1
Mysticism 11+1 (to hit 4 energy breakpoint)
Wind Prayers 4+1 (to hit 2 attack breakpoint)
Air/Fire/Water 7 (or whatever is left basically)
(Attributes off the top of my head might be a point out here n there)
I run windwalker or radiant depending, ww in HM radiant in NM.
Icy/Fiery/Shocking scythe of enchanting 15^50

Just take any generic PvE build (such as the ones listed in the sticky in this section) and replace the skills you can't use with utility skills and such, i.e. Rush.
Run survivor on all pieces except chest, which should be windwalkers.

Alright. Is there a useful replace for AoHM/other faction skills? There are a LOT of faction skills I've seen around, and I do not have factions, therefore am unable to obtain them. Basically just list a couple decent Myst/EP utility skills that match AoHM and Asuran Scan (in usefullness, I haven't found any that increase attack damage like those two), as I have neither EoTN or Factions.

Dervishes have no business being in parties that use MoP and barbs, because there are HB warriors around that are far better at utilizing them. Nevermind the fact that those things are only effective when you can get the enemies to do exactly what you want consistently (good luck with that on heroes).
