I have heard that your title will be frozen and if you had over R1 (Commander) it will count as part of the KoABD title track. Will they simply freeze the title and keep your rank, do what I mentioned above, or will they completely abolish the title?

I didn't hear anything about it being added to koabd title would like to see a link to the proof on that. As for the title itself, it won't be abolished just frozen. The ladder will freeze and as for the Hall of Monuments, if you have the statue for Commander, you cannot get the statue for Sealed deck title and vice versa. So might as well enjoy the last 3 or 4 days HB has left in existence.

If your commander title is MAXED it will count towards KOABD, but rank 1 aint gonna cut it. I wish people would stop spreading this misinformation and use their brains x_x

Also, as far as I know, the contribution towards KOABD shouldn't have even been mentioned as Im pretty sure nobody has maxed the title.

closest to max i've seen is r11 but only 1/4 to r12 lol. i'm glad to have 0 commander points.

saddest thing ever is that Siva Yuga also is the #5 on the ladder now...he aint even that good of a player as he linebacks nearly 24/7 or runs around using random wastrells... yes this comes from some1 who has beaten him. Anyway no1 will ever max Commander title...Anet knows it so instead they should make R11 max instead. Cause that way its fair to Siva but its also the most AWSOME title-name EVER!

All the information I posted came from in game, which was a terrible source for information. I had to ask, figured the r1 = max KoABD was nonsense.

The RR is designed NOT to push someone up the ladder. As Red is always the highest rating and loses rating by resigning, there is no way you can increase your position.
This doesn't mean that HB tournament "blue" players haven't purposely forfeited matches to push someone up the ratings. This is the main reason that ANet is doing away with the format - too much cheating.

The Codex Title
To accompany this new game type, we've introduced a new title track for Codex Arena: the Codex Title Track. The Codex Title replaces the retired Commander title from the Hero Battles format, but still retains its counterpart in the Hall of Monuments and counts towards earning your Kind of a Big Deal title. What does this mean? If you've already achieved the maximum rank of Commander, you won't be required to achieve the maximum rank of Codex to earn or maintain your Kind of a Big Deal title. If you haven't achieved ranks in the Commander title, you can work your way up the ranks of the new Codex title.
For those seeking to fill out their Hall of Monuments, we've introduced a new Codex statue to add to your collection. If you achieve Codex rank 3 or greater you'll receive the Eternal Codex Disciple statue to place on your Monument of Honor in the Hall of Monuments.
