Should Heal as One PvE be changed?

Ever since the buff making charm animal redundant in PvE builds, HaO lost even more appeal to be taken due to it being a replacement to comfort animal.

So, my thoughts are HaO should be changed to where your animal comes with you if it is equipped.

It is an elite Comfort Animal, and I always wondered why they left this one as is. It is a simple change, and one that makes sense. I'd like to see it happen.

I'll quote myself from the other ridiculous thread where the OP felt like hotlinking every word of his post:

Your idea makes a lot of sense, and really should be implemented. Ever since they added the pet res to Heal as One, it's essentially been an elite Comfort Animal. Adding a special effect to Comfort but not HaO destroys any logic of bringing the elite in PvE (the logic behind bringing it in the first place can obviously be debated, but that's a different argument).

Hate Gwg search, tried 5 different variations and still found nothing relating to this, thanks for the topic.

That really stupid troll infested thread was closed so we might as well continue that discussion here.

I'm /signed on this one it shows consistency with other buffs and pve/pvp skill splits (that sometimes don't happen but you can't blame arenanet cause they're busy with GW2*)

Heal as One has now gone from being an elite comfort animal to a pointless waste of a skill slot.

We might as well (as mentioned in the other annoying thread) ask for the same to be done to revive animal (barrage pet for the win ).

*Or at least we hope so.

Well, they changed Comfort animal so you would save one item slot.
Having a skill that has a similar or related effect to the old Comfort animal unchanged when Comfort animal works differently now it's a bit weird.

Any skill that resurrect pets should make them go with you too in PvE.

My problem is that even with this change, HaO would still be a massive waste of an elite slot.
An elite selfheal?

Now, if on the other hand HaO would receive some sort of a buff - then this would make sense.

Not adding this functionality seems like an oversight.

Seeing as it is kinda of a wasted elite as it is right now, why not add this functionality to make it at least slightly less of a waste? lol

What about it? It still has its use. Granted, that use is negated after you have used it, but it does still do what it needs to do. It charms a pet.

I don't see why this wasn't implemented in the first place.

I find myself quoting upier for truth. wtf?

Anywho, I don't really care because there's just no way I'd use HoO in either case.

Yeah, might as well. The elite status isn't justified with the new functionality of Comfort Animal. /signed.

Thanks for that. Saving that link for my "all time stupidest guru threads" list.

Its just as "worthless" and "wasted" as heal as one, even more so, heal as one will function as a self heal while charm animal is worthless outside of your brief trips to the menagerie.
